The LEED Green Building Rating System encourages a holistic approach to the design process that recognizes the interdependent nature of a sustainable building. Since LEED evaluates environmental performance from the perspective of the entire building considered over its entire life cycle, incorporating input from the design team (architects, engineers, landscape architects, et al.), the community, and the client, becomes key to achieving a LEED rating and successful design.

ATS&R has been a member of the U.S. Green Building Council since 2005. As a USGBC member ATS&R has the opportunity to build relationships with industry leaders, share information regarding best practices, and play an active role in advocating for green building issues and helping build consumer awareness. The USGBC is a non-profit composed of leaders from every sector of the building industry working to promote buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work.
